Mr. Mahesh Chander Kaushik's Nifty Ki Dukaan (NiftyShop) strategy is a very famous strategy among traders and investors. What if we applied this on Midcap50 universe rather than Nifty50. This is how MCAP50 Shop strategy was born. The backtest revealed a surprise and also confirmed our hunch that this strategy could be quite profitable and also would help churn our positions faster and thereby increase fund utilisation, which was often sighted as an issue with Nifty Shop strategy.
